Megan from Stitchin' The Day Away!!!
My name is Megan.... After growning up making fun of my moms decorating choice of primitives, thinking some of the stuff looked like it came from someones trash, I know have the same love & wish I had a few of her pieces in my home!! So now I have found the same love for things old & "primitive"... I love going to auctions & flea markets always looking for something I have to have!!
I started crafting & selling about 4 years ago, I decided to give ebay a try after I quit my job to visit family over Thanksgiving one year. My manager said I had to make a choice & I did!!! My family is more important to me & this has been one of the best decisions I have ever made!! I have been given the opportunity to do what I have always loved & have met so many wonderful people along the way!! This past year my business has really evolved & expanded...
In August, I joined the ebay group " A Gathering of Crows ", what an awesome group of ladies....always willing to help each other out w/ advice or just an open ear!! www.agatheringofcrows.com
September brought my new website... This has been a dream of mine since I started selling & has been a true joy to see come to life!! Look for many new additions over the next few months!! www.stitchinthedayaway.com
I also recently joined Etsy...I was unfamiliar with it, but my aunt was telling me about it so I decided to give it a try!! www.stitchinthedayaway.etsy.com
So with Thanksgiving approaching so quickly ~ I have so much to be thankful for this year! I truely am blessed to do what I love everyday & I thank each & every one of you for the opportunity you've given me!I look forward to many more years of sharing my primitves & I am always adding to my collection.
