WE'RE FEATURING....

Pammi from Country Counts!!

Welcome to AGOC's blog. I hope by reading this blog you will get some idea of how we got started with our eBay group. (We've worked together, developed wonderful friendships, and encourage one another create and sell primitives on eBay.)

Our group got started a little over two years ago. We were just a handful of friends that loved primitives and either sold on eBay or wanted to sell their creations on eBay. We all learned together, that's for sure! lol I can remember the days of saying, "What's a template for?," having never ever used one! lol. At the time AGOC got its start, there were a few ebay groups out there; however, they werent accepting any new members. Then, I had an idea. If all of us who wanted to be in a primitive group joined together and supported each other, we' could form our own eBay group and have a huge following. That's how we got started!

I have to say it was hard at first figuring out how to invite people and how to promote our group, but once it got going, and it took off we had a great time! We have built great friendships at AGOC. It has definitely been a great way to meet people that love the same things...primitives! We all do our own hand made items. (That is one thing that sets us apart from some eBay groups out there.) We don't sell imports or "ready made" things on the AGOC eBay page. We support each other and promote each other. We have had several advertisements in national magazines too! (That's been interesting too! lol) Who would've thought our small group would be advertising in such magazines!

We've also branched out a bit from eBay and now have an AGOC website. Several of our members sell primitives on this website: www.agatheringofcrows.com . (This is just one more perk to being a member of AGOC.)

I know I have learned so much from all the ladies and have made great friendships. I'm so glad to be apart of such a wonderful, inspirational group of ladies! Thanks ladies for making this "our" eBay group!
